Hi Earl,

I will use an HPE 5900CP or a HPE 5930-2Slot in NPV mode.   Multiple 8G FC uplinks, with login distribution and NPIV.  The switch will be configured to auto redistribute logins and can also be configured to prefer specific uplinks using the traffic-map feature.

Comware will be version F2428.

There is a chance that the uplinks from the 5930-2slot will operate in 32/16 G FC.

Hi Barry,

Can you send me the specifics of your HPE AG device? I know you mentioned you would publish the document but I wanted to get a head start on giving Brocade Engineering the specs of your device.

Earl,

You should be able to utilize the 12 LC connections on a cassette for device connectivity to your switches.  These switch to cassette connections  will be 5m or less depending on how you organize your table and other equipment.  Also, for the switch to switch connections in track 2 and 4,  you should bring the 128G  cables and at least 4 short cables for the ISLs.

Hi Barry,

What meter length of OM4 cabling should I bring? I also assume bring enough cabling for the amount of connections per test track?
